The Barton Hyper 125 is an enduro-style motorcycle that proves itself not only during everyday commuting. A tall seating position, generous ground clearance and a distinctive silhouette encourage you to leave the asphalt for gravel or a hard-packed forest road. It is a proposition for riders looking for practicality and a touch of adventure in a single motorcycle.
The single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a displacement of 125 cm³ delivers 10 HP at 9000 rpm. The unit is air-cooled and uses electronic fuel injection. The six-speed gearbox lets you precisely match the ratio to the pace of city riding, a trip out of town, or looser surfaces.
The upside-down front fork ensures stable handling and copes well with bumps. At the rear a central shock absorber works, and the high-routed exhaust system leaves more room when tackling ruts and potholes. The Hyper weighs 152 kg, and its permissible load capacity is 150 kg.
The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch wheels with spoked rims. At the front a 100/90-17 tire is used, and 130/80-17 at the rear. This setup works both on asphalt and in light terrain. Both wheels are fitted with disc brakes.
The front headlight and indicators are made with LED technology. The lighting gives the motorcycle a modern look, improves visibility after dark and makes the Hyper more visible to other road users.
The Hyper is available in a basic version and one equipped with a set of panniers. The extra space lets you conveniently pack the things needed for a longer trip without giving up the motorcycle's everyday functionality. The 13-litre tank and fuel consumption of about 2.7 l/100 km give great freedom when planning a journey.
