A motorcycle without fuel, gears or noise

The electric motorcycle section collects two-wheelers where a motor replaces the engine and a battery replaces the tank. There is no clutch, no gearbox, no carburettor and no fuel mixture. The rider turns the throttle and the bike moves, with full torque available from the first turn of the wheel. For someone still learning, that removes half the things a beginner has to manage at once — no stalling on a hill, no hunting for the right gear mid-corner.

What is in this section

The QMC ECO Rider 36V 1000W is a minicross-bodied machine on a 36 V system, limited to around 25 km/h. Its suspension and knobbly tyres are set up for grass, gravel and light dirt rather than tarmac, which makes it a sensible first off-road bike for a young rider. Its practical appeal is the maintenance list: charge the pack, check the brakes, check tyre pressure. There is nothing else to do between rides.

  • Voltage and power. 36 V and around 1000 W suit a child or a light teenager; higher voltage buys speed and hill-climbing ability.
  • Battery type. Lead-acid packs cost less and weigh more; lithium packs are lighter and recharge faster.
  • Range. Quoted on flat ground with a light rider — sand and slopes can cut the real figure roughly in half.
  • Charging. A domestic 230 V socket and typically four to eight hours for a full cycle.
  • Wheels and tyres. Knobbly tyres and minicross geometry keep the bike predictable on grass and gravel, and noticeably noisier on tarmac.

To compare battery machines against petrol crossbikes and minicross models in one place, open the parent motorcycle catalogue. The road-oriented electric two-wheelers — the Otto bike MCR-HUB, the Land Moto District street and the Miku Super Sunra — are listed under electric motorcycles inside the broader electric transport section, alongside e-scooters and e-bikes. Parents who prefer four wheels for a first machine should look at electric ATVs — the same drivetrain philosophy with far more stability.

Frequently asked questions

How far will it actually go on one charge?

Manufacturer figures assume a light rider, level ground and a steady moderate speed. Off-road, on grass and sand, with frequent stops and climbs, expect around half that distance. The practical rule is to measure the longest ride you plan and choose a battery with a clear margin above it.

Can the battery be replaced later?

Yes — the pack is a consumable and loses capacity after several seasons. Ask about replacement availability for the specific model before buying, because that is what decides whether the bike can be brought back to full performance in three or four years' time.

Electric motorcycles are supplied assembled and tested, with a 12–24 month manufacturer guarantee and purchase documents. We ship across Poland and the European Union, and the bikes can be inspected in Wrocław at ul. Robotnicza 92/94.
