The Barton Stratos 125 combines a classic form with the solutions expected of a modern motorcycle. A round headlight, exposed structural elements and carefully chosen details give it a neoclassical character. It is a proposition for motorcyclists who want to stand out on the street.
The single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a displacement of 124 cm³ delivers 14.3 HP at 9000 rpm. The unit is liquid-cooled, fed by electronic injection and works with a six-speed manual gearbox. This setup provides brisk acceleration and lets you make good use of the motorcycle in the city and on the road.
Full LED lighting emphasizes the distinctive silhouette of this scrambler and improves visibility after dark. The motorcycle is also fitted with floating indicators that create an interesting contrast with its classic lines. The whole looks elegant but not old-fashioned.
The five-inch LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity offers two backlight variants. In addition to basic parameters it also shows extra information, including the highest speed reached during a trip and the 0 to 60 km/h acceleration time. The data stays clear and easily accessible while riding.
The wide seat provides a comfortable position during everyday rides and longer trips. Its height is 810 mm, so the Stratos also suits the needs of taller motorcyclists. A wheelbase of 1420 mm and a weight of 163 kg promote stable and predictable handling.
Disc brakes supported by a CBS system are used on both axles, distributing braking force between front and rear. The front disc has a diameter of 299 mm and the rear 240 mm. The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch wheels with 110/70-17 tires at the front and 140/70-17 at the rear.
A 14.5-litre tank and fuel consumption of about 2.6 l/100 km complement the universal character of the Stratos well. The motorcycle works for regular commuting, evening rides around town and longer trips, letting you enjoy something more than just practical transport.
