The Barton Traverse 125 is an Adventure-type motorcycle that is just as at home in everyday city traffic. A comfortable position, stable construction and adventure styling encourage you to choose longer routes and detour onto gentler, unpaved stretches. It is a proposition for riders looking for a single machine for commuting and weekend trips.
The single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 125 cm³ produces 14 HP at 10,000 rpm. The four-stroke unit is liquid-cooled, which helps maintain even running also during longer rides. The six-speed gearbox lets you make good use of the available performance both during frequent changes of pace in the city and on the road.
A wheelbase of 1420 mm ensures calm and predictable handling at higher speeds. A weight of 159 kg promotes stability, and the motorcycle's well-chosen proportions let you keep freedom while maneuvering. A permissible load capacity of 180 kg makes it possible to travel with a passenger or extra luggage.
The Traverse is fitted with 17-inch aluminum rims. At the front a 110/70-17 tire is used, and at the rear a wide 150/55-17, which emphasizes the motorcycle's massive silhouette and provides stable support on asphalt. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both wheels.
A 15.5-litre fuel tank suits the touring character of the Traverse well. The large reserve lets you choose longer and less obvious routes without subordinating the whole trip to refuelling stops. Thanks to this, the motorcycle works not only during everyday rides but also during spontaneous weekend getaways.
