The Barton FRX 125 combines the character of an enduro motorcycle with the ability to legally travel on public roads. Full road homologation means it can serve for daily commuting in the city and on weekends become an inseparable companion for trips off the asphalt. A tall silhouette, large wheels and an off-road construction immediately show what it was made for. The single-cylinder, four-stroke 125 cm³ engine develops 15 HP, i.e. 11 kW at 9500 rpm. Liquid cooling helps maintain the right temperature of the unit also during more demanding riding. A six-speed manual gearbox allows precise selection of gear ratios. The engine is started electrically.
The seat is at a height of 920 mm, providing a natural off-road riding position and good visibility of the road. A wheelbase of 1505 mm favors stable handling during faster riding and over bumps. The FRX weighs 121 kg, so it remains relatively light and easy to control. The motorcycle has aluminum rims: 21-inch at the front and 18-inch at the rear — a classic combination for enduro motorcycles. High ground clearance increases the possibilities of riding off paved roads. Disc brakes at the front and rear provide effective deceleration on asphalt and looser surfaces. A 10-liter fuel tank allows planning longer routes combining road and off-road sections. The permissible load capacity of the motorcycle is 95 kg.
