The Barton B-Max 125 combines the spaciousness of a maxi-scooter with the simplicity of everyday use. A large, comfortable seat, extensive luggage space and a relaxed riding position provide comfort both during city commutes and longer trips. The automatic gearbox makes handling easier, so the B-Max can successfully replace a car in many everyday situations.
The spacious body provides plenty of legroom, and the wide seat allows comfortable two-person travel. In the basic version the passenger has an additional backrest. The long silhouette and a wheelbase of 1560 mm promote stable handling also during longer rides.
Under the seat there is a capacious luggage compartment. But that is not all. The B-Max is also available in a version equipped with brackets and a 36-liter top case. The additional space comes in handy during daily shopping, commuting and trips with a passenger.
The single-cylinder, four-stroke 125 cm³ engine develops 9 HP. It is air-cooled and works with an automatic gearbox, providing smooth acceleration without having to worry about gear changes. Fuel consumption is about 3.5 l/100 km, and the twelve-liter tank lets you plan refueling stops less often.
A massive silhouette and dynamically drawn lines give the B-Max the character typical of larger touring scooters. A dual LED headlight effectively lights the road, while the rear lamp made in the same technology emphasizes the modern design. The most important information is shown on a clear LCD display.
The front and rear wheels are equipped with disc brakes that provide effective and easy-to-feel braking. An additional parking brake secures the scooter when stopped. The B-Max weighs 146 kg, and its permissible load capacity is 150 kg. A 14-inch wheel is used at the front and a 13-inch at the rear.
