RDB
RDB is a Romanian brand of light electric vehicles under the "rac dobrogea bike" name, run by a company from Tulcea in Dobruja. In our catalog it covers three groups of equipment: scooters, cargo tricycles and compact cars. They share a common idea: electric drive instead of a combustion engine where routes are short, quiet and emission-free operation matters — in a residential area, on factory premises, at a resort, on a farm or in the narrow streets of an old town.
RDB scooters are the ROMA, PARIS, Star, Storm, RAC, SULINA 5 and CP-6 models and the CC series — CC09, CC10, CC15 and CC25. A typical configuration of this class is a 600 W motor with a peak power of 1200 W, a 48 V battery, a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, and a speed limited to 25 km/h. For example, the ROMA with a 20 Ah gel pack covers 40–50 km on a single charge, weighs 44 kg and allows a load of 143 kg, and the seat lets you carry a passenger.
The cargo tricycles are arranged by increasing load capacity: MINI, SINOE PRO, CARGO, LONG, L-Klass4, X-Klass4, MAX-Klass4 and two versions of the XL-Klass4 — HIDRAULIC and PLUS. The most powerful XL-Klass4 PLUS has a 4000 W motor, a 72 V 45 Ah battery, a front hydraulic disc brake and a load capacity of 681 kg with a curb weight of 233 kg; the hydraulic tipper saves effort with loose materials. Models with a smaller box, such as MINI or CARGO, are cheaper and maneuver more easily in tight yards.
RDB electric cars — F-CLASS, COMBY, ROXY and SMART — have a closed body, so they are suitable for year-round work, not just in season. The F-CLASS has a 1000 W motor and a 72 V 58 Ah battery, the COMBY with the same pack offers 1500 W, while ROXY and SMART use a stronger 3000–3500 W system and a 60 V 100 Ah battery — the SMART’s declared range reaches 100–120 km. These are vehicles for local driving, not for high-speed roads.
Start your choice with the task, not the power: to move one person around a site, a scooter is enough; for cargo, choose a tricycle with a load capacity selected with a margin; and for riding with a passenger in any weather, a car with a closed cabin. Check the type and capacity of the battery, the load capacity and whether the vehicle is meant to run only on private land or needs registration. All models charge from a standard 230 V socket, and a full cycle usually takes 4–8 hours. The warranty depends on the component — for the XL-Klass4 PLUS the manufacturer states 24 months on the motor and 6 months on the battery. For each RDB model in the catalog you will find technical data, photos and the price; we sell with a warranty and an invoice, and ship across the country.
